Strategic Health Plan Sales Executive Affordability Solutions (New Logos)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Strategic Health Plan Sales Executive – Affordability Solutions (New Logos) in the United States.

This is a high-impact, strategic sales role focused on driving new logo acquisition within the US health plan market, with a strong emphasis on affordability, value-based care, and payment transformation. You will engage senior executives across regional health plans to position an advanced platform that helps optimize provider networks, reimbursement models, and Alternative Payment Model (APM) strategies. The role requires a consultative, enterprise sales approach in highly complex, multi-stakeholder environments. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating healthcare industry challenges into measurable business and clinical value. The position blends territory ownership, strategic account planning, and end-to-end deal execution, from prospecting through contract negotiation. You will also play a key role in shaping go-to-market strategies and influencing product direction through market insights. This is a remote, entrepreneurial role for a seasoned sales leader who thrives in building new relationships and driving transformational healthcare outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute a territory strategy focused on regional health plans, including whitespace analysis, target prioritization, and account planning.
  • Drive new logo acquisition through multi-channel prospecting, including executive networking, ABM campaigns, events, referrals, and digital outreach.
  • Manage full-cycle enterprise sales processes, including discovery, solution alignment, ROI justification, RFPs, negotiation, and closure.
  • Build and present compelling business cases demonstrating financial and operational impact of affordability solutions.
  • Conduct executive-level discovery with payer stakeholders across finance, provider contracting, clinical, operations, and IT functions.
  • Multi-thread relationships across C-suite and senior decision-makers to build trust and accelerate deal progression.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and disciplined opportunity tracking.
  • Partner with internal teams including marketing, product, solution consultants, and executives to advance complex deals.
  • Provide structured feedback from the market to inform product strategy and competitive positioning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by delivering insights on payer market trends, value-based care, and affordability transformation.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of enterprise B2B SaaS sales experience with a strong hunter mindset and consistent quota achievement.
  • Proven success in closing new logos within US health plans, payers, or similar complex healthcare markets.
  • Deep understanding of payer operations, value-based care, reimbursement models, and Alternative Payment Models (APMs).
  • Strong consultative selling skills across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Experience leading long, complex sales cycles involving procurement, RFPs, and legal negotiations.
  • Ability to build and defend ROI models and executive-level business cases.
  • Strong territory planning, pipeline generation, and account strategy capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at C-suite level.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and modern sales enablement or AI-assisted tools.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Ability to travel up to 50% and operate effectively in a remote-first environment.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work model with flexibility and reduced commuting requirements.
  • Competitive compensation package including performance-based incentives.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage options.
  • 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions.
  • Generous PTO policy including holidays, floating days, and volunteer time off.
  • Wellness programs and mental health support resources.
  • Tuition assistance and ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Financial planning support and additional savings/discount programs.
  • Life, disability, and supplemental insurance coverage options.
  • Inclusive and flexible work culture focused on impact and growth.
