Compensation: Starting pay begins at $55.85 per hour, with competitive rates based on experience and education.
Schedule: Full-time position with variable shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency coverage as needed.

What You'll Do as a Staff Pharmacist- Review, verify, and manage medication orders to ensure safe, accurate, and effective drug therapy.
- Participate in interdisciplinary patient care activities, including medication reconciliation, medication therapy monitoring, and clinical consultations.
- Provide patient and caregiver education regarding medications and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication outcomes.
- Provide drug information, dosing recommendations, and evidence-based clinical support.
- Perform distributive pharmacy functions to ensure timely medication availability and delivery.
- Monitor patient responses to medication therapy and recommend interventions as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- Support the education and training of pharmacy students through practical and didactic learning experiences.

- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
- One (1) year of clinical patient care and medication order management experience preferred.
- Current license to practice Pharmacy in the State of North Carolina required.
- Strong pharmaceutical knowledge and clinical decision-making skills.
- Ability to accept accountability for patient outcomes and prioritize patient needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with pharmacy information systems and related technology.
- Commitment to professional integrity, continuous learning, and quality improvement.
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shifts.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials weighing up to and greater than 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, turning, and reaching.
- Frequent hand, finger, and wrist repetition requiring moderate dexterity.
- Frequent close eye work and detailed medication verification activities.
- Exposure to electrical and mechanical equipment, chemicals, biological specimens, and healthcare-related hazards.
- Subject to variable schedules including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency situations.
- Occasional exposure to ionizing and non-ionizing radiation environments.
