Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Frontend Platform Engineer in the United States.
This role sits at the core of a high-growth SaaS product, where frontend platform engineering directly shapes how millions of users experience a modern scheduling ecosystem. You will build and evolve the foundational systems that power shared React architecture, enabling engineering teams to ship faster, safer, and with higher consistency across applications. The work spans platform infrastructure, developer experience, and real-time frontend systems that support dynamic, data-driven user experiences. You will contribute to the design of shared packages, frontend scaffolding, and scalable build systems that unify development across multiple product teams. This is a highly collaborative, impact-driven environment where platform reliability and developer velocity are equally critical. You will partner closely with engineers, designers, and product teams to elevate frontend standards across the organization while helping shape long-term architectural direction.
- Design, build, and maintain frontend platform infrastructure, including shared React packages, reusable libraries, and application scaffolding used across multiple teams.
- Develop and evolve real-time frontend systems that enable efficient server-to-client data delivery and highly responsive user experiences.
- Improve developer experience by building tooling, automation, and observability systems that increase engineering velocity and reliability.
- Contribute to critical platform initiatives such as package optimization, architectural upgrades, and cross-app frontend improvements.
- Support the evolution of shared frontend architecture, ensuring consistency, scalability, and performance across applications.
- Partner with product engineering teams to translate requirements into robust, reusable platform solutions.
- Participate in operational excellence efforts including monitoring, testing, incident response, and on-call support for critical systems.
- Drive improvements in build systems, CI/CD pipelines, dependency management, and release workflows for frontend ecosystems.
- Support large-scale migrations and architectural transitions across frontend applications and shared packages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment between platform capabilities and product needs.
- 3+ years of software engineering experience in SaaS or technology environments with a strong focus on frontend architecture.
- Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern build tooling such as Webpack, including performance optimization and application structure.
- Experience building and maintaining shared frontend platforms, component libraries, or reusable infrastructure used across teams.
- Solid understanding of package management, versioning strategies, and dependency lifecycle across distributed frontend systems.
- Experience improving frontend reliability through CI/CD pipelines, automation, and release workflows.
- Strong debugging skills with the ability to resolve complex issues across build systems, runtime behavior, and multi-app environments.
- Experience supporting large-scale frontend migrations such as framework upgrades, architecture shifts, or state management transitions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product engineers, design system teams, and infrastructure stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical trade-offs and guide architectural decisions.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, system-level problem spaces spanning tooling, infrastructure, and application behavior.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
- Competitive base salary ranging from approximately $156,400 to $227,424 depending on location and experience tier.
- Equity participation through stock options as part of a long-term incentive program.
- Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Performance-based bonus opportunities for full-time employees.
- Flexible PTO policy supporting rest, balance, and personal time.
- Remote-first work model with collaborative, distributed engineering teams.
- Home office support and equipment stipends depending on role requirements.
- Opportunity to work on high-scale frontend systems impacting millions of users globally.
- Inclusive, engineering-driven culture focused on learning, ownership, and long-term platform quality.
