You will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, translating business and user requirements into robust technical solutions. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will apply strong problem-solving skills and software design principles in a complex, enterprise-scale environment. - Translate business and user requirements into clear technical specifications and scalable software solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services across the full development lifecycle.
- Support system design, debugging, and troubleshooting of complex software and production issues.
- Ensure code quality, security, logging, error handling, and performance standards are consistently applied.
- Apply release management practices, version control processes, and deployment standards.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies, assessing impact across systems, processes, and risk environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and improve system integration and application performance.
- Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure system stability and reliability.
- Work independently on complex engineering tasks while escalating risks and issues appropriately.
- 4–6 years of experience in software engineering or a related technical role, ideally in cloud or enterprise environments.
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong programming skills and solid understanding of software development lifecycle principles.
- Experience with cloud computing, microservices architectures, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, test-driven development, system integration, and DevOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
- Experience in application debugging, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in collaborative teams.
- Adaptability, learning agility, and ability to work in fast-changing technical environments.
