Job Description
Territory Manager (Austin Territory)
The Territory Manager is responsible for driving growth, retention, and client satisfaction across an assigned geographic area. This role blends strategic sales responsibilities with hands-on account management to ensure exceptional service delivery for mobile laboratory, phlebotomy, and imaging services. Territory Managers support Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), Home Health Agencies, Clinics, and other long-term care partners. Territory Managers serve as consultative partners—building relationships, identifying opportunities, solving client challenges, and ensuring Principle Health Systems remains the provider of choice for compliant, high-quality mobile diagnostic services.- Full-time, permanent role supporting the Austin, TX Territory
- $50,000/year+mileage, cell phone, marketing reimbursement ,and additional bonus potential
- Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm-schedule flexibility to cover evenings/weekends as needed

Territory Sales & Growth
- Prospect and acquire new business across SNF, ALF, Home Health, Clinic, and other long-term care segments for laboratory and imaging services.
- Conduct cold calls, in-person visits, networking events, and presentations to generate pipeline opportunities.
- Prepare and execute monthly sales plans to meet or exceed KPIs, quotas, and territory growth targets.
- Forecast sales performance, identify accounts at risk, and implement retention strategies.
- Maintain a strong understanding of competitor offerings and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
Account Management & Client Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and high retention.
- Conduct routine facility visits to engage with clinical teams, administrators, and physicians.
- Provide ongoing education and training on software, service protocols, and operational workflows.
- Partner with internal teams, including phlebotomy, imaging, logistics, and laboratory operations, to resolve issues and optimize service delivery.
- Facilitate in-service training for newly onboarded facilities.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Analyze customer needs and challenges; develop tailored solutions to improve satisfaction and utilization.
- Maintain organized documentation of activities, CRM records, reporting, and follow-up tasks.
- Contribute to cross-functional collaboration on process improvements and client-facing initiatives.
- Participate in trade shows, client dinners, and community outreach events as needed, including evenings or weekends.
Product & Industry Expertise
- Acquire and maintain deep knowledge of Principle Health Systems’ services, technology, and operational capabilities.
- Stay informed about regulatory updates, long-term care trends, and best practices related to diagnostic imaging, mobile healthcare services, HIPAA, and other healthcare compliance requirements.
- Ensure all sales, onboarding, and account management activities align with applicable healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and internal compliance policies.
- Clearly articulate value propositions and differentiators to stakeholders at all levels.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records, sales activity logs, forecasting tools, and follow-up documentation.
- Collect and submit required documents (e.g., onboarding forms, service agreements, medical records as applicable) to support compliant account workflows.
- Support cross-training initiatives within SNF, Home Health, LTAC, and Clinic business lines.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (science or business-related field advantageous).
- 2+ years of B2B sales or customer-facing experience in healthcare, long-term care, or related sectors preferred.
- Prior experience in medical sales or account management strongly preferred.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with excellent time management and organization abilities.
- Ability to multitask and adapt within a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and results-oriented with a growth mindset.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.
- Ability to travel extensively within the territory, including daily driving.
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods during visits and events.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and navigate a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
