The position is for a Temporary/Relief Medical Director at the Veterans Home of California – Redding, CA

Hourly Rate: $200/hr

Required licenses and certifications

The physician must maintain:

• A current, unrestricted California M.D. or D.O. license

Location requirement

• Lives within 100 miles of the Veterans Home in Redding

Location: Veterans Home of California – Redding

Redding, California 96002

Schedule: 80 hrs a month on site, 40 hrs offsite a month

Availability requirements

The contractor must:

• Maintain a telephone contact available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Respond to CalVet service requests within 1 hour
• Be able to provide requested services within approximately 24 hours, unless another schedule is agreed upon
• Provide qualified replacement coverage when the assigned physician is unavailable
