About the role
As an Inventory Operative (3 month fixed term contract), you’ll play a key role in keeping our stock accurate and our warehouse running smoothly. You’ll manage stock movements, investigate discrepancies and carry out regular audits, while looking for ways to improve processes and drive greater efficiency across the operation. You will be required to travel across two sites based in Christchurch and Hurn.
What you'll do
- Auditing stock using our BLADE WMS system
- Working in parallel with the goods in team to ensure stock is located in the most opportunistic locations to improve efficiencies downstream
- Working with the dispatch team remedying bottlenecks to ensure all orders are shipped within SLA
- To ensure clean and tidy working environment and that staff are using all required PPE
- Ensuring work is carried out to a high-quality standard.
- Any other duties as assigned
What we're looking for
- Warehouse and/or logistics experience (preferred)
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to high health & safety standards
- Punctual timekeeping
- Self-motivation and the ability to think fast on your feet

- 40 hours per week Monday-Friday
