Job Description
Spiritual Formations Teacher
Christian Life School is seeking a passionate and faith-driven Spiritual Formations Teacher to join our high school team for the 2026–2027 school year. This individual will play a vital role in discipling students, fostering spiritual growth, and helping them develop a Christ-centered worldview.
Position Overview
The Spiritual Formations Teacher is responsible for guiding students in their understanding of Scripture, encouraging authentic faith development, and supporting the spiritual life of the school. This role includes teaching Bible courses, mentoring students, and actively contributing to the CLS community.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach high school Spiritual Formations/Bible courses
* Develop engaging, biblically grounded lessons that challenge and inspire students
* Create a classroom environment that encourages spiritual growth, discussion, and reflection
* Mentor and disciple students in their personal faith journeys
* Collaborate with colleagues to integrate faith throughout the school experience
* Participate in chapel services, school events, and other spiritual life activities
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required)
* A strong, mature Christian faith and commitment to living out biblical principles
* Willingness to pursue and obtain ACSI Bible Specialist Certification
* Strong communication, relational, and organizational skills
* A genuine love for students and passion for Christian education
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience teaching Bible or theology at the high school level
* Familiarity with ACSI standards and Christian school environments
