THE PURPOSE:

The Merchandiser, Men’s is responsible for executing and owning the men’s product assortment and merchandising strategy from concept through commercialization. This role partners cross-functionally to deliver a compelling product line that drives sales, margin, and brand relevance while supporting overall company objectives.

THE ROLE (what you are accountable for):

• Own the seasonal go-to-market process for the men’s business, from line planning through in-season execution and sales performance.

• Execute and manage a brand-right assortment that drives sales growth, margin, and inventory productivity.

• Partner with Planning, Design, Marketing, and E-Commerce to support product strategies and key item programs.

• Manage inventory, OTB, chases, and markdown strategies to optimize sell-through and profitability.

• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to inform assortment decisions and in-season actions.

• Ensure product meets cost targets and gross margin objectives while maintaining brand integrity.

• Oversee receipt flow, delivery reconciliation, and executional accuracy.

• Present business performance, insights, and recommendations at weekly, seasonal, and milestone reviews.

You bring a strong balance of creative product intuition and financial discipline, with the ability to see both the big picture and the details. A natural collaborator and clear communicator, you take ownership, anticipate challenges, and follow through with thoughtful solutions.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

• 5-7+ years of merchandising experience in an apparel retail or omnichannel environment, with specific experience in the men’s category and denim preferred

• Strong retail math and financial acumen, including sales, margin, inventory, and OTB management

• Advanced Excel proficiency with the ability to analyze data, create PIVOT tables, and translate insights into action

• Proven ability to manage seasonal line plans, in-season execution, and markdown strategies

• Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment

• 1+ years of experience managing, coaching, and developing a team

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners

ADDITIONAL ROLE INFORMATION:

• Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this role is $85,000 – $105,000. This is a full-time, exempt position. This range represents the low and high end of the expected base salary range for this role based on the applicable location. True Religion reasonably expects to pay within this range in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity.
