Position Overview
Under the general direction of the Controller, the Accounting Intern assist in effective preparation, analysis, and insight for general ledger balances.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Collaborate with FP&A, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Production, Operations, and Logistics departments to ensure accurate reporting and analysis
- Perform other ad hoc duties as requested
Required Skills and Experience:
- Candidate for Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Extraordinary interpersonal skills to work in conjunction with other departments.
- Must be a team player who also works well independently
- Must be able to analyze data, draw conclusions, interpret results, and make recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Proficient knowledge of Outlook and Word
