Job Summary
Focus on quality improvement through inspection, audit, investigation, and reporting the quality of materials, processes, and products to ensure conformance with quality standards.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform random and scheduled work-in-process inspections. (Including Quality Management System).
- Perform dock audits on the finished product as needed.
- Assist in the investigation and root cause elimination of customer complaints.
- Assist in the disposition, control, and maintenance of non-conforming material.
- Enter quality data into computerized business information systems.
- Use tape measures, steel rules, calipers, pin gauges, and other inspection tools as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
- Minimum 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training
- Exposure to warehouse management systems
- PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
- Desire to drive continuous improvement processes and standards.
- Ability to work under pressure with deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail.
