Position Summary:
At Johnstone Supply, we’re always looking to strengthen the organization by adding the best available people to our staff. We’re seeking a talent acquisition specialist to help us source, identify, screen, and hire candidates for various roles in the company. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, two or three years of experience in talent acquisition, proficiency with applicant tracking systems, and an ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with others across various departments.

Education and Experience:
Required:
- 2-3 years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar role
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
- Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
- Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates
- Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in Human Resources Management or similar Field
- Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
- Professional credential, such as HR certification institute

- Demonstrated understanding and application of effective sourcing strategies and techniques.
- Skill in building long-term candidate relationships.
- Skill in proactively communicating (both verbal and written) to establish relationships and influence decisions.
- Skill in solving non-routine, unstructured problems using critical thought to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
- Strong project management and multi-tasking skills.

Work environment: Most work is performed in an office environment with cellular phone, car, and/or computer.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. and as needed per business requirements.
Travel: This position requires frequent travel to branch locations.
