Mechanic Lead Maintenance and Repair for Agricultural and Specialized Site Equipment
Job Overview

Salary/Pay Rate: $80,000 $100,000+ per year (Based on experience).
Location: Webster, SD.
Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
Schedule: Monday Friday, Weekends, and Overtime.
Project Scope: Landscaping / Hardscaping (Residential, Commercial, Government, or Federal).
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver's License.

How You Will Make an Impact
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues across a fleet of agricultural and light-duty construction equipment.
Execute rigorous preventative maintenance schedules to maximize the lifespan and safety of specialized erosion control machinery.
Overhaul critical components and systems to prevent field breakdowns during high-stakes government and commercial builds.
Maintain detailed service records and inventory logs to track parts usage and equipment health across all company assets.
Collaborate with field operations to provide rapid mechanical support and troubleshooting for on-site equipment failures.
Support erosion control operations by assisting with equipment modifications and other duties as assigned to meet project goals.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Knowledge in mechanical repair with a specific emphasis on agricultural and light-duty construction equipment.
Strong proficiency in troubleshooting diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and advanced electrical diagnostics.
Valid Driver's License and the ability to travel to project sites for emergency field repairs.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a shop environment effectively.
Physical stamina to handle heavy components and work in various outdoor and shop conditions.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
1+ year of previous experience
Possession of a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) for transporting equipment or mobile service units.
Previous experience maintaining specialized erosion control equipment such as hydro-mulchers or wattle machines.
Formal vocational training or manufacturer-specific certifications for major agricultural or construction brands.
