HCSS ITS Fellow at University of Texas Medical Branch – Galveston, Texas

JOB SUMMARY: Fellows will support the UTMB Network Operations Team while gaining hands-on experience through rotations across multiple ITS functional areas, preparing them for a successful transition from student to employee.

MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS:

• Delivers end user reports within specified timeframes throughout campus.

• Monitors and operates printing and microfiche hardware under supervision.

• Performs routine maintenance on printing and microfiche hardware under supervision.

• Logs and reports all problems.

• Adheres to internal controls established for department.

• Performs related duties as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in IT, Business/Finance, or Healthcare from an accredited college or university. Degree must be earned before the fellowship start date. No experience required.

EQUIPMENT: Data processing equipment.
