Administrative Specialist (Student Enrollment) at Central Carolina Technical College (SC) – Sumter, South Carolina

Performs administrative assistant office duties for the Department of Enrollment Management and the supervisor. Types letters, reports, and proposals, ensuring that format, grammar, spelling, and punctuation are correct, and drafts, edits, and produces final documents. Organizes and implements general office procedures to manage multiple activities simultaneously. Attends meetings, takes and types meeting minutes, and sends minutes and materials to all meeting participants. Restocks office supplies and maintains department inventory. Completes department requisitions for supplies, services, and events. Serves as a receptionist for the Department of Enrollment Management. Receives, responds to, and routes all telephone calls, walk-ins, and email and mail inquiries for the department. Performs data input and maintenance using the CRM and other college systems for prospects, leads, and inquiries. Stays abreast of admissions processes, college policies, and academic programs to ensure basic knowledge needed to recruit students effectively and periodically assists at the Welcome Desk and Registration Lab. Manages, coordinates, conducts, and maintains the college's Campus Visit Experience, working cooperatively with supervisor, department staff, and college divisions. Provides training for relevant staff, faculty, and volunteers to enhance the recruitment and enrollment experience. Assists with special enrollment and recruitment activities on- and off-campus.

A high school diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma. Preferred Associate degree or higher and experience using a CRM or similar software.
