About This Position

Description:

Richmond Vascular Center is a dynamic, growing outpatient interventional practice led by two of Central

Virginia's most experienced interventional radiologists. We are seeking an exceptional LPN or Medical Assistant to

Join our close-knit clinical team and play a key role in delivering highly personalized, minimally invasive care.

This is not a typical 'rooming' role. At RVC, our LPN and MAs are integral partners in the patient journey, from the initial

consultation through procedural prep and recovery. We value team members who bring a blend of clinical

precision, autonomy, and deep patient empathy.

* Highly Specialized Care: Advanced, minimally invasive treatments (UFE, embolization therapies) that avoid

hospital stays.

* Physician-Led, Experience-Driven: Work side-by-side with the region's top Interventional Radiologists.

* The OBL Advantage: A true office-based lab environment. No hospital chaos. All patients go home

the same day.

* Small, Cohesive Team Culture: An intentionally small, supportive team where every member is valued.

* Patient-Centered Philosophy: We prioritize education and compassion, not assembly-line medicine.

Requirements:

As an LPN or MA at RVC, you are the 'air traffic controller' of the clinical floor, ensuring that both patients and

Physicians have exactly what they need for a seamless experience.

Clinical Support & Patient Flow:

- Comprehensive Intake: Perform clinical intake, document medical histories, and obtain vitals within the

EMR.

- The Continuum of Care: Assist in the 'consultation to recovery' workflow.

- Procedural Prep: Prepare the procedure suite, set up sterile trays, and position patients.

- Post-Op & Recovery: Support RNs in recovery with site checks, bandage changes, and discharge

instructions.

Practice Excellence:

- Patient Education: Explain procedures clearly and maintain a calming, professional demeanor.

- Supply Integrity: Maintain a meticulously stocked and 'survey-ready' clinical environment.

- Administrative Coordination: Assist with medical records and pre-procedural checklists.
