JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Expediter

Reports to: Manager on Duty

Overall Responsibilities:

The responsibilities are centered around sending food out correctly to our guest.

Specific Duties:

• Managing the flow of food from the kitchen to the dining area.
• Ensuring the accuracy and presentation of dishes.
• Communicating with kitchen staff and front-of-house staff.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the expediting station.
• Prioritizing orders and managing the kitchen's workflow.
• Acting as a liaison between the kitchen and the front-of-house staff.
• Ensuring food quality and presentation standards are met.
• Managing the timing of food delivery.
• Relaying information such as ticket times, order modifications, and any delays.
• Acting as a central point of communication between the kitchen and the front-of-house staff.
• Preventing errors and delays.
• Double Check & prepare to-go orders
• Posses a high degree of organizational skills
• Managing the flow of food from the kitchen, ensuring dishes are prepared and ready to be served at the same time.
• Optimizing the food delivery process and minimizing waste.
