About This Position
Position Overview
ESI is seeking a highly skilled and credentialed Organizational Psychologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in the application of proprietary psychometric and workplace-based assessments, including current certifications in DiSC, Hogan Assessments, CliftonStrengths (Gallup), and EQ-i 2.0 (Emotional Quotient Inventory). This position will play a critical role in developing tailored organizational interventions, advancing leadership development initiatives, and supporting transformative organizational change through evidence-based psychological practices. Having transit experience is strongly preferred.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibility Area Description
Assessment Administration & Interpretation Administer, score, and interpret DiSC, Hogan, CliftonStrengths, and EQ-i 2.0 assessments for individuals and teams.
Provide actionable insights and development recommendations based on assessment outcomes.
Program Design & Delivery Develop, implement, and facilitate training programs, workshops, and individual or group coaching sessions leveraging assessment data to drive performance, engagement, and leadership capability.
Consultation & Advisory Serve as an internal consultant to leaders, HR, and project teams on topics related to talent management, culture, team dynamics, and organizational effectiveness.
Organizational Diagnostics Lead or support organizational diagnostics to identify systemic barriers, capability gaps, and opportunities for growth, using quantitative and qualitative data.
Reporting & Data Analytics Prepare high-impact reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, trends, and recommendations to a variety of stakeholders, including executives.
Continuous Learning Maintain up-to-date knowledge of organizational psychology trends, assessment best practices, and advancements in the field. Stay current on recertification requirements for all proprietary tools.
Ethics & Compliance Ensure all assessment-related activities are conducted in accordance with ethical standards, relevant privacy laws (e.g., EEOC, ADA), and client confidentiality requirements.
Required Qualifications
• Education: Doctorate (PhD, PsyD) or Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field.
• Certification: Active (unexpired) credentials in all of the following:
• DiSC
• Hogan Assessments
• CliftonStrengths (Gallup)
• EQ-i 2.0 (MHS/Emotional Quotient Inventory)
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in organizational consulting, talent development, or related occupational psychology roles.
• Expertise: Proven experience designing and delivering assessment-based development solutions for diverse populations (including executive, managerial, and operational levels).
• Analytical Skills: Strong competence in statistical analysis, psychometrics, and interpreting both individual and group assessment data.
• Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and facilitation skills; able to translate complex psychological concepts into practical, actionable business insights.
• Technology: Proficient in virtual facilitation tools, assessment administration platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience supporting federal, state, or local government clients.
• Knowledge of the transit industry is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated track record managing large-scale leadership development or change initiatives.
• Familiarity with additional psychometric or leadership assessment tools (e.g., MBTI, Birkman, FIRO-B, Korn Ferry).
• Active membership in professional organizations (e.g., SIOP, APA).
