Job Description
Join SDMyers as a Contract Administrator.
This role plays a vital role in supporting the business by ensuring contracts, purchase orders, bids, and proposals are thoughtfully reviewed, coordinated, and executed with accuracy and care. This role helps protect the organization while enabling progress—balancing compliance, risk awareness, and business needs.
Reporting to the Contracts Attorney, with a dotted-line relationship to the General Legal Counsel, this position serves as a key connection point between contract activity and legal oversight, supporting timely, informed decision-making and helping the organization move forward with confidence.
What You’ll Do
Contract & Document Management
- Review contracts, purchase orders, NDAs, MSAs, bids, and proposals for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Identify and escalate legal or risk concerns
Legal Coordination
- Partner with Legal Counsel on contract issues, compliance matters, and escalations
- Support legal documentation, notices, and administrative legal needs
Contract Lifecycle Management
- Administer contract management and legal ticketing systems
- Track, assign, and ensure timely completion of contract-related requests
RFP & Bid Coordination
- Lead coordination of RFPs and bid packages
- Gather cross-functional input and ensure timely, complete submissions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales and Account Management to execute contract documents
- Communicate customer-specific requirements across internal teams
Negotiation Support
- Assist with routine contract clarifications, amendments, and extensions
Compliance & Documentation
- Support vendor onboarding and compliance documentation
- Assist with Certificate of Insurance (COI) processes
Continuous Improvement
- Help maintain contract templates, policies, and internal standards
- Contribute to improving systems and processes
