Medical Director of Obstetric Anesthesiology - Stockton, CA | $575K

Lead a dynamic, collegial team of anesthesiologists and parter with Nursing and OB leadership in this regional referral/high-acuity program. Leading Academic hospital system with Magnet nursing designation. Beautiful Sacramento area with four-season recreation and easy access to Napa Valley.

Practice Environment:

• 2 Obstetric Operating Rooms
• 8-10 Labor & Delivery Rooms
• 3,000+ deliveries annually
• Level III NICU (30 beds)
• Primary Assignment to Obstetrics with periodic rotation to cover main OR and NORA environments
• Collaborate with obstetricians, nursing and hospital leadership
• Participate on monthly QI, QC and PI safety committees and obstetrical and perinatal committee meetings

The Anesthesiology department is diverse, consisting of 12 physicians and over 30 independent-practice CRNAs providing services for up to 16 anesthetizing locations daily to include acute care ORs, cardiac ORs, obstetrics, GI/endo, cath lab, interventional radiology, a hospital ambulatory surgery center, and a new venture with a local orthopedics surgery center.

Qualifications:

• Active state license
• BC/BE in Anesthesiology
• Obstetrical anesthesia experience requried
• Demonstrated leadership experience prefered
• Experience working in a high-acuity obstetric environment
• ACLS | BLS
• DEA
