Work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to drive compliance, reduce risk, and uphold RLW’s highest safety standards across assigned project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administer and enforce the Corporate Safety & Health Program on-site
2. Maintain and enhance project-specific safety documentation
3. Coordinate and lead pre-construction safety planning with subcontractors
4. Review and approve subcontractor safety plans and hazard analyses
5. Conduct regular site safety evaluations and track corrective actions
6. Support and monitor toolbox talks and site safety meetings
7. Lead accident investigations and ensure proper reporting
8. Collaborate with Risk Management to identify and reduce jobsite risks
9. Deliver and track employee safety training (OSHA 10/30, HAZWOPER, etc.)
10. Prepare and submit safety data and reports to corporate
11. Travel regionally to support multiple projects as needed

Requirements:

1. Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent experience.
2. 4+ years of field safety management experience in the Construction Industry.
3. 2+ Supervisory experience.
4. Knowledge of construction safety.
5. Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, provincial, local and company regulations and the ability to locate them as needed.
6. OSHA 30 is required
