Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician by either PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT); Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.

This position requires use of a computer workstation, completion of tasks with repetitive motions, and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds. This position may require personnel to wear personal protective equipment to reduce risk of exposure to work-related hazards (e.g. handling of hazardous medications).

Day shift; 7 days on/7 days off; 7:00 am – 5:30 pm / 7:00 am – 7:00 pm.

The Inpatient Pharmacy Senior Technician is responsible for maintaining stock inventory, including participating in the ordering process and ensuring proper storage and dating; processing, dispensing and delivering patient specific orders to assigned areas with timeliness and efficiency; replenishing automated medication dispensing cabinets; assisting in the training of newly hired technicians, interns and student learners, and supporting the department with a patient-centered approach.

This position is eligible for a recruitment bonus. Additional details will be provided during the hiring process should your application be selected to move forward. All pay rates will be based on candidate’s experience.

Hospital/retail pharmacy technician and/or healthcare customer service experience preferred.
