Job Summary:
Prairie Farms Dairy, Oak Park operates as a dairy distribution center that covers the whole state of MI and some of the surrounding states. We make dairy products that are then distributed to retail outlets, warehouses, hospitals, correctional facilities, retirement homes, food service warehouses, schools and colleges throughout Michigan.
We are currently looking for a Branch Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Oak Park distribution team. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
This is a Salaried position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Be able to travel to designated locations and stay as long as needed to fulfill tasks.
- Will be asked to step in to fill, and train in certain management positions, Route Supervisor, Transportation Manager, etc. at different locations as needed.
- Access the route structure and distribution structure to provide the most efficient means possible.
- Must be able to communicate with management, Route Drivers, and Transportation Drivers in a way that can explain and implement changes deemed necessary.
- Must have a valid Class A CDL and medical card.
- Must have computer skills to map routes, create spreadsheets, and to communicate.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
