As a New Product Sourcing Specialist based in our Houston, TX facility, you will play a key role in supporting and executing sourcing activities for new product launches. You’ll work closely with New Product Sourcing Managers, engineering teams, and suppliers to ensure materials and components meet quality, cost, and delivery targets. This role involves moderate project ownership and requires the ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.

In This Role You Will:
- Support sourcing activities for new product launches alongside senior team members.
- Assist in collecting and organizing supplier quotes, RFQ documents, and sourcing data.
- Maintain sourcing files, documentation, and updates in internal systems.
- Communicate with suppliers to gather information, request quotes, or follow up on outstanding items.
- Manage sourcing activities for assigned new product projects, balancing cost, quality, and delivery needs.
- Conduct sourcing analyses—including supplier data, cost, and lead‑time evaluations—to support project decision‑making
- Learn and use data tools to support team reporting and continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, procurement, or related roles.
- Exposure to engineering environments (electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing) or experience working with technical teams.
- Experience or exposure to working in a manufacturing environment.
- Foundational understanding of negotiation and supplier communication.
- Interest in technical sourcing or new product introduction processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field.
- Familiarity with ISO standards.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement tools.
