Pre-Analytic Laboratory Supervisor Summary

The Laboratoy Supervisor of Pre-Analytical Operations is responsible for the management and supervision of the laboratory receiving and purchasing/supply areas. This position required the knowledge and skills necessary to provide direction to staff for accurate specimens and processing, meet the regulations that are required to maintain our laboratory's certification, and ensure optimal specimen and supply handling is provided to meet the needs of customers.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.

Experience

Laboratory experience

Pre-Analytic Laboratory Supervisor Schedule

Monday through Friday, primarily day shift, occasional weekend work as needed. Expecting to work in times of staffing shortages, emergencies, disasters and unexpected increases in workload. May be required to be on-duty for extended periods of time during emergency situations, including computer downtimes.

Pre-Analytic Laboratory Supervisor Benefits

At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
