Warehouse Associate at Don's Appliances – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Don’s Appliances is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for receiving, storing, and preparing appliances for delivery and pickup. This role ensures the accurate handling of products, maintains an organized and safe warehouse environment, and supports the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Unload distributor delivery truck and properly store appliances in the warehouse
• Review for any visible damages to appliance or box
• Un-box and completely prep scheduled appliances for installation. Review for any visible damages
• Load trucks properly and securely and without damage to appliances
• Safely unload appliances off our truck and safely add to inventory
• Breakdown trash and empty all recycling
• Keep warehouses and parking areas clean
• Keep trucks cleaned out. Keep the warehouse work area free of all debris
• Perform related tasks as required

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse or inventory experience needed
• Prior forklift experience needed
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment and basic computer systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
• Frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move heavy appliances safely (up to 75 lbs or more)
• Ability to work in varied warehouse conditions, including temperature fluctuations

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Required: Valid Driver’s License

Work Location/Hours

• This is a full-time position
• HQ Robinson Twp. PA
• Two shifts available, Monday through Friday,11AM to 7PM and Monday- Friday, 7AM-3PM. In addition, the incumbent must be able to participate in a weekend work rotation
