As an independent subsidiary of HME, CE provides repairs for all brands of drive thru equipment, nationwide. We also sell and install equipment and accessories for all brands of that equipment. We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Test-Repair Tech I.

What you will do in the position:

  • Repair and Process Repair/Exchange Orders
    • Repairs and processes repair/exchange orders for all assigned product using detailed instructions as appropriate.
    • Determines equipment failure and compare findings with customer complaint. If necessary, prepare an estimate and route repair order for customer approval.
    • Completes repair on the equipment, including component level troubleshooting, rework modification/updates or realignment as needed to return it to factory specifications.
    • Completes repair order paperwork and processes all repairs per company policy in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Provides self-QC on items repaired to ensure high quality products and services.
    • Processes all priority repairs and exchanges as directed to ensure timely shipment.
    • Maintains assigned test equipment and keep working area in a clean and safe condition.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Qualifications Supervisor Instructions
    • Good soldering skills.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
    • Ability to use common hand tools.
    • Ability to operate required test-equipment.
    • Good judgment.

    • Technical School, Certificate, or Equivalent - Preferred Electronics

The posted pay range, $17.00 to $22.70 per hour, is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision, and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.

Position requires frequent contact outside the department or company and the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate with occasional loud noise. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, works in high, precarious places, is exposed to fumes and/or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, and is regularly at risk of electric shock.
