Job Description
Position Description: As a Driver Manager supporting our Over-the-Road fleet, you will play a pivotal role in keeping freightand peoplemoving across the United States. This is not a back-office logistics position; it is a frontline leadership role with real influence on safety, service, retention, and performance. You will serve as the primary point of connection for our OTR drivers, coordinating nationwide logistics while ensuring drivers feel supported, informed, and respected every mile of the way.

Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the schedules and routes of a team of drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
Monitor driver performance, including adherence to safety protocols, compliance with DOT regulations, and customer service standards.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to drivers, addressing any issues or concerns and offering solutions as needed.
Collaborate with the planning team to assign and adjust routes based on operational needs, traffic conditions, and customer requirements.
Conduct regular performance evaluations of drivers, providing feedback, coaching, and training opportunities for improvement.
Address driver complaints, accidents, and incidents in a timely and effective manner, following established procedures and protocols.
Foster a positive and respectful work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a strong safety culture.
Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and customer service, to resolve operational issues and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications:
Minimum High School Diploma/GED required, Associates Degree preferred
Proven experience in transportation or logistics, with a focus on driver management.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hours of service, and driver qualification requirements.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to resolve issues and make sound judgments.
Flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs and work schedules, including occasional evenings or weekends.
