Job Description

The Export Coordinator is responsible for coordinating between customers, CODA warehouse and dispatch personnel to ensure efficient and accurate operational service. This role also involves supporting driver activity and delivery coordination, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and record-keeping skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment. The goal is to ensure smooth operations across all export functions while maintaining a high level of service.

Roles and Responsibilities

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Perform administrative duties and data entry when receiving export cargo Maintain and update customer inventory records Build and maintain strong relationships with clients Maintain standard operating procedures and customer profiles, including key contacts, special requirements, contract rates, and preferred routing/services/carriers Coordinate and communicate with drivers regarding deliveries, pickups, and scheduling to ensure timely and accurate service Work closely with dispatch and warehouse teams to support daily delivery operations Track freight and monitor shipment status to ensure timely departures and deliveries Process data through company systems and submit shipping information to clients Confirm weekly inventory reports for each client Handle billing for all transactions Respond promptly to customer inquiries related to tracking, tracing, and service issues Identify and report operational problems, discrepancies, or disputes to supervisors Ensure hazardous material shipments are processed in compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations Provide excellent customer service throughout the export process, including timely communication and issue resolution Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements

High School diploma or GED required Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an office environment 2+ years of experience in an export role 2+ years of experience in the logistics or shipping industry Knowledge of global supply chain processes is a plus Freight Forwarding and/or NVOCC experience strongly preferred Preferred Skills
