Who we are:

Westwood Country Club is a premier family-oriented athletic club located in central Austin that provides a variety of quality services and activities for the recreation and dining needs of its members.

Compensation: $15 per hour + Tips

Position Summary: Greets members and guests and responsible for food and beverage services at Court 7 Grill. Must maintain a clean and sanitary environment, ensuring compliance with all local and state health codes. Interact professionally with all members and staff and take direction from the Court 7 Grill Managers and Assistant Managers. This is a non-exempt, hourly position.

Essential Job Functions: *including but not limited to*

Take members / guest orders using correct members names / numbers / sub-numbers using the point-of-sale system (POS).

Prepare smoothies and alcoholic beverages.

Serve food and beverages to members / guests, delivering food items to the tables in and outside.

Restock food and beverage products and small wares required for item preparation; operate food production equipment according to managers’ and manufactures’ instruction.

Consistently use safe and sanitary food handling practices, including those related to personal hygiene.

Perform cleaning tasks; clean equipment, clean line areas and all dining areas, sweep, mop, remove trash, etc.

Keep workstations clean and monitor dining areas throughout the day, refilling and restocking as necessary (including condiments, ice, lemons / limes, napkins, straws, etc.).

Maintain a clean, sanitary environment to ensure compliance with local and state health codes, and for the safety of our members, guests, and employees.

Perform all other duties / tasks as assigned by the Court 7 Grill Managers or Assistant Managers.

Education and/or Experience: Requires a Texas Food Handlers’ Safety Certificate and TABC Certification. Experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields

Physical Demands: This position requires standing, walking, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, holding/carrying, twisting/turning, reaching, climbing stairs, and the ability to lift at least fifty (50) pounds regularly. Must be able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
