Position Objective
Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and organize merchandise, ensuring a continuous flow of product within the warehouse while complying with safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
-Operate forklifts safely (sit-down, stand-up, or electric pallet jack).
-Load and unload product from trailers and trucks.
-Transport pallets of fruits and vegetables within the warehouse.
-Place and store product in racks or designated areas.
-Supply product to repack, picking, or shipping areas as needed.
-Ensure pallets are properly stacked and secured.
-Perform pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment.
-Report mechanical issues, damages, or safety incidents.
-Comply with safety, sanitation.
-Assist with physical inventory counts when required.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
