Bartender/Server at SWXC Sunland – El Paso, Texas

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages so that you can deliver high-quality drinks
• Bartenders will be responsible for taking tables, taking out orders, 3rd party orders, bussing tables, etc. As a Bartender at Unbranded Tavern and Kitchen you are responsible for all Front of house responsibilities, as well as assisting cooks or dishes if needed.
• Basic bar knowledge is required. Must know how to make standard drinks prior to employment.
• Work the service bar in a friendly and efficient manner. Ensure all drink orders have been rung in
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol
• Provide excellent guest service by engaging the guest, describing food/beverage, taking orders, efficiently delivering food, and accepting payment
• Inform guests of specials and/or promotions, answer questions, and make suggestions when asked
• Use up-selling techniques with every guest to enhance the dining experience
• Address guest concerns and inform the manager
• Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe, including restrooms,
• Clean up spilled food, drink, and broken dishes, and remove empty bottles and trash from the bar area
• Provide an enjoyable bar experience for every Guest
• Remain visible behind the bar at all times to assist Guests and Team Members
• Provide responsible service for alcoholic beverages
