About This Position

Description:

The Director of Removable Excellence is a national role responsible for advancing BonaDent’s removable prosthetics expertise across the organization's laboratories. This position serves as the clinical and educational authority for removable dentistry, ensuring consistent quality standards, technician capability, and doctor confidence across all BonaDent locations.

This role leads removable-focused education, quality oversight, and strategic growth initiatives, including reclaiming lost removable business and supporting new client acquisition through education, consultation, and credibility-based relationship building. The Director of Removable Excellence works cross-functionally with Operations, Operational Excellence, Business Development, and Human Resources Teams and serves as a visible ambassador of BonaDent’s removable excellence. The Director of Removable Excellence must also demonstrate the ability to produce high-quality restorations.

Essential Job Functions:

Removable Education & Training:

- Design and deliver national training programs for removable technicians across all BonaDent laboratories including an implementation plan, goal setting, and progress reports.

- Develop standardized removable education curricula aligned to BonaDent quality standards and workflows.

- Support onboarding and upskilling of removable technicians at satellite and headquarters locations.

- Lead in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and webinars for internal teams and external doctor clients.

Quality Oversight & Clinical Standards:

- Establish, monitor, and continuously improve removable quality standards across all laboratories.

- Partner with leadership to assess removable production quality, workflow efficiency, and technician performance. Conduct site visits and recommend corrective actions and best practices.

- Support quality assurance initiatives related to digital dentures, complete dentures, All-on-4, and advanced removable solutions.

- Act as a clinical escalation point for complex removable cases and quality concerns.

- Create and maintain SOPs and Visual Standards to aid in standardizing training and quality control processes.

Production:

- Carry out production on complex denture cases as necessary to meet team goals and ensure quality.

- Responsible for carrying out/completing phases of denture fabrication to BonaDent Standards.

-Waxing, setting up and finishing complex, combo to immediate load cases

Doctor Education, Client Engagement & Strategic Growth:

- Serve as a trusted clinical educator and advisor to dentists seeking removable expertise.

- Participate in webinars, continuing education-style trainings and events for doctor clients to support business development efforts.

- Train Client Experience and Sales teams to support doctor retention and satisfaction through education and quality consultation.

- Develop and deliver presentations to providers through Lunch and Learns and webinars.

- Assist in attracting new removable-focused clients by demonstrating BonaDent’s clinical expertise and quality commitment.

- Provide clinical input on removable product offerings, workflows, and service enhancements.

Leadership & Collaboration:

- Act as a leader and role model aligned with BonaDent’s core values of Customer Focus, Excellence & Attention to Detail, Teamwork, and Growth Mindset.

- Collaborate closely with Operations, Operational Excellence, Business Development, and General Managers.

- Mentor technicians and leaders to elevate removable capability and confidence across the organization.

Requirements:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Certified Dental Technician (CDT) required; Licensed Denturist (LD) strongly preferred.

- 15+ years of experience in removable dentistry, including digital and analog workflows.

- Demonstrated experience leading technician training, education programs.

- Strong background in complete dentures, digital dentures, All-on-4, and advanced removable solutions.

- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.

- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

- Comfortable traveling nationally and working independently from a satellite location.

- Proficient with standard office technology.

Starting at $130,000 with potential for a bonus
