About This Position
Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics, Organizational Change Management, Communications, Training, and Information Technology (IT) Support Services. We are currently seeking a Hazmat Specialist to join our team of professionals in support of the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) Warehouse Support Services (WSS) Program.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Performhazardous material receiving duties, including receiving, unloading, and processing incoming shipments.
- Review shipping documentation, packing slips, and accompanying records against received containers.
- Report overages, shortages, damaged shipments, or discrepancies in accordance with established procedures.
- Open containers and remove dunnage and packing materials.
- Segregate material by type, including HAZMAT, consumables, equipment, narcotics, pilferable items, and other specialized stock.
- Generate labels and route material to staging areas or stow locations using DMLSS or other military databases of record.
- Perform storage and stowage of hazardous materialin accordance withapplicable laws, regulations, and Government stow plans.
- Support HAZWASTE determinations, disposal documentation, and turn-in processing.
- Perform hazardous material transaction record reviews and documentation updates.
- Research quality assurance messages, recalls, alerts, and affected product notices utilizing DMLSS or other military databases of record.
- Coordinateaffected products, recalls, and alerts with impacted work centers and Government personnel.
- Support pick, pack, preserve, and crate (PPP&C) operations involving hazardous material.
- Perform administrative duties, including data entry, document maintenance, spreadsheet updates, and email correspondence.
- Support turn-in of unserviceable hazardous material and verify quantities and documentation prior to disposal.
- Operate material handling equipment asrequired.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations)
Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in hazardous material management, including receiving, inventory management, warehousing, and operation of various types of material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of hazmat terminology, inventory control, storage, issue, and disposal processes.
- Experience with hazwaste determination, profiling, and processing requirements.
- Experience supporting quality assurance, message research, product recall coordination.
- Experience utilizing DMLSS or similar military inventory systems preferred.
- Knowledge of hazardous material shipping requirements, including dangerousgoodsdeclarations.
Additional Requirements
- A valid driver’s license to drive stand-up and 4–6K forklifts.
- CertifiedOSHA HAZWOPER standard (29 CFR 1910.120)
- Ability tooperatematerial handling equipment safely.
- Ability to lift, move, and stage hazardous material as required.

- Must be a United States Citizen
- Must be able to pass a background investigation (minimumT-1/NACI)
