Bartender / Mixologist – Las Vegas, NV
About The Role:
We're now hiring Mixologist for our Beverage concepts that align with our exhibits and themed entertainment products. A trust artist of beverage where you can taste your imagination and delivers the experience through the taste and smell of our specialty beverages. We want our guests to taste and feel the experience. Handles all cash transaction accurately.
The Mixologist is responsible for creation of atmosphere, delivering an experience that immerses the guest into a time, a story, or a mood in which we create. The Mixologist will do this by mixing various types of alcohol and other ingredients in which enhance the atmosphere and ambiance of the exhibit. The Mixologist will also create new and fun drink menus to share with our visitors and which align with the exhibit and themed experience. Duties include working with other Imagine Exhibition team members to help maintain the experience by character and engage our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Make syrups, infusions, tinctures, mixed drinks, and cocktails of all types to fulfill guest orders.
- Entertain guests while mixing drinks, talking about spirits, and offering history and trivia about the various alcohols to engage visitors.
- Offers various cocktail options to guests who are usure of their drink choice.
- Craft original beverage menu items and designing new cocktails utilizing ingredients and spices.
- Take and place order and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable.
- Must keep the bar area cleaned wash glasses and keep the bar well organized while maintaining sanitation standards of business and local food and beverage laws.
- Must adhere to all state laws regarding alcohol consumption by checking customer identification and cutting offguests that have drunk in excess
- Entertain guests while mixing drinks, talking about spirits, and offering history and trivia about the various alcohols toengage visitors.
- Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
- Prepare all drink garnishes and keep garnish station stocked.
- Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures
- Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
- Basic computer skills and experience with varied Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Able to handle multiple types of information and/or perform multiple tasks

Required Competencies:
- 3 years previous experience as a bartender is required.
- Union Pour Card required
- High School degree or equivalent is preferred.
- Must have dexterity and ability to learn entertainment/mixology pouring.
- Must be able to pass a math test.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older.
- Minimum of one-year customer service experience in a previous position, where the primary job duty is direct customer service, is required.
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
- Must present a professional and pleasant appearance that guests will find appealing and approachable to engage inconversation.
- Must be able to work any day of the week and scheduled shift.
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Work requires knowledge of tray service and cocktail ingredients.
- Able to handle multiple types of information and/or perform multiple tasks
Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry 20lbs.
- Must be able to work inside assigned speakeasy or lounge
- Must be able to bend, pull and carry bar stock to refrigerators and cabinets.
- Must be able to use hand motion when preparing and pouring all types of drinks for customers and cocktail servers.
- Must be able to use hand motion when cleaning and wiping bar counters.
- Must be able to complete required paperwork for cash transactions.
- Must be able to operate: cash register, two and six-wheel carts, juice, soda, and liquor guns, cutting boards, coffeeand frozen drink machines, ice machines, shot glasses, mixers, pourers, blenders, beer keg/soda/wine/juice hook-ups and knives.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
- Must be able to stand for entire shift.
- Must be able to converse over the telephone in an environment with loud background noise.
- Must have appropriate work credentials as require
The pay range for this role is:
18.14 - 18.14 USD per hour(The Cabinet/Lock)
