About This Position
Retirement Plan Administrator
Department: Wealth Management
Reports To: Retirement Plan Department Leader
Position Mission Statement
To demonstrate a servant’s heart to KFG’s clients and the firm by providing timely, considerate, and professional service. To build trust with retirement plan clients and team members, and add referable value in KFG’s relationship with its retirement plan clients.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Retirement plans maintained in a manner that meets all applicable regulatory requirements
- Coordinate, educate, and serve retirement plan sponsors and retirement plan participants of Korhorn Financial Group, Inc.
- Schedule Meetings
- Manage Service Calendar
- Maintain Processes
- Oversee New Plan Onboarding
- Provide Client Service
- Initiate and manage the Follow Up Process after client meetings and/or by client request
- Provide service to existing retirement plan sponsors and their participants
- Assist Implementation and retirement plan sales with new plan onboarding
- Quarterly billing, including billing audit, for retirement plans
- Stay current on Department of Labor, ERISA, and FINRA rules and regulations
- Assist in Employee Education Sessions
- Develop and update processes and procedures for the Retirement Plans Department
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Significant computer and software training or experience (i.e. Microsoft Office, CRM Software, fi360, eMoney and Morningstar)
- Above average math skills and analytical abilities
- Must have a desire to pursue professional development, licenses, and designations
- AIF®
- CRPS
- Must be well organized with time, resources, physical office space, and client documents/information, detail oriented, and be able to manage a large workload
- Must be a team player and able to collaborate with team members and financial professionals from other firms
- Comfortable interacting with clients via telephone, email, video conferencing, or face-to-face
- History of prudent management in personal finances
- Must be coachable, goal oriented, grasp concepts quickly, able to work in a fast-paced environment, embrace change, and have a strong desire to learn and grow in the financial services industry
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Two to three years of financial industry experience preferred
- Two to three years Retirement Plans industry experience
- Series 65 Highly Preferred
