Position Overview: Pungitore Irrigation & Fertilizer is looking for a skilled and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our expert team. Key Capabilities & Responsibilities:

• Installation & Setup: Install irrigation systems, including timers, smart controllers, and sprinkler heads.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair irrigation components such as pipes, fittings, electrical systems, and backflow preventers.
• Seasonal Maintenance: Perform system start-ups, evaluations, winterizations, and ongoing system maintenance to keep systems running smoothly.
• Water Efficiency: Assess and adjust irrigation systems to ensure optimal water usage and efficiency.
• Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, offering professional advice and solutions during service calls.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of work performed, including inventory usage and job details via the Jobber app.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to provide seamless service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and organize your work vehicle and tools to ensure efficiency and safety on every job.

Qualifications:

• Proven Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in irrigation system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance (both commercial and residential).
• Strong Technical Skills: Expertise in working with a wide variety of irrigation components, including controllers, sprinkler heads, pipes, electrical systems, and backflow preventers.
• Water Management Knowledge: Deep understanding of water efficiency principles and the ability to make system adjustments to optimize performance.
• Problem Solving: Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues with irrigation systems.
• Customer-Focused: Outstanding communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to clients in an easy-to-understand manner. Provide excellent customer service on every job.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in completing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks, ensuring all systems are operating at peak efficiency.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain accurate inventory, timely job reports, and keep vehicles and tools clean and well-maintained.
