The M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing (FCN) is seeking applicants for the role of Director, Enrollment Management. The Director of Enrollment Management provides leadership and operational oversight for all enrollment activities across the FCN programs and tracks. This role is accountable for directing the full enrollment lifecycle, from inquiry to deposit, ensuring processes are efficient, data driven, and aligned with the College’s enrollment objectives.
The Director leads and manages the admissions application process utilizing the University CRM, optimizing workflows to meet enrollment targets while delivering a high quality, user centered experience for applicants and internal stakeholders. In collaboration with Program Directors, this position designs, implements, and sustains engagement strategies that strengthen applicant yield and support FCN’s enrollment goals. The Director continuously evaluates enrollment performance, conducts research and prepares actionable reports to identify opportunities to enhance program enrollments, innovation, and increase operational efficiency. By leveraging enrollment management technologies and evidence based best practices, the Director drives process improvements that enhance outcomes and efficiency.

The Director collaborates closely with Program Directors and other key stakeholders using enrollment data to develop informed recommendations and implement solutions that address program‑specific challenges. This role plays a critical part in streamlining enrollment operations, improving decision making, and ensuring enrollment strategies support the College’s mission and university best practices

Duties and Responsibilities:
Database Management and Operational Effectiveness
  • Collaborating with all stakeholders, creates, distributes, and maintains an operational manual to streamline and enhance training and enrollment workflow efficiencies.
  • Manages and implements standardized use of enrollment technology such as Technolutions Slate CRM across the College.
  • Develops and maintains processes to organize, streamline and collect programmatic and admissions data to inform college recruiting and admissions strategies.
  • Partners with the Director of Recruitment to generate reports on inquiring students, inquiry/applicant conversion time, applications by marketing source, application fee waiver code usage, and admission event registration/attendance.
  • Builds and maintains admissions rubrics ensuring best practices across programs in the CRM system in collaboration with Program Directors.
  • Responsible for ensuring data in SLATE is accurate and adheres to established protocols.
  • Manages the timely and accurate handling and storage of transcripts and other application materials.
  • Develops, maintains, and distributes dashboard reports to monitor recruitment pipeline and student enrollment across all programs. Utilizes trend data to support data-driven decisions by the college.
  • Executes admission-related surveys, analyzes data, and creates and shares reports both internally and for accreditation, rankings, and surveys.
  • Manages enrollment and trends reporting and provides real-time and point-in-time updates to Program Directors and Deans.
  • Onboards and provides overall supervision of the Enrollment team in daily operations and facilitates continued growth and professional development.
  • Continually evaluates, researches, and reports on opportunities to enhance Program services and efficiencies by leveraging enrollment management software system.
  • Responds to audit and compliance requests.
Technical Support
  • Provides support to FCN Faculty and Staff to troubleshoot issues with the applicant tracking system.
  • Works closely with University departments on system design, utilization, upgrades, possible process improvements, and resolving system problems for users of the system.
  • Is the liaison between the College and University Technology Services with troubleshooting any issues with parallel systems or processes as they pertain to the enrollment management process such as Banner.
  • Collaborates closely with other Villanova academic areas to discern campus-wide norms and best practices for shared systems.
  • Serves as Slate Captain for the College and actively participates in the Villanova SLATE User Group ensuring best practices, policies, and processes are translated back to the College.•
  • Develops and executes Slate training sessions for faculty and staff on an as needed basis.
Applicant Communication
  • Responds to inquiries and develops relationships with prospective applicants from point of inquiry to deposit utilizing technology to effectively manage the process.
  • In conjunction with the Marketing and Communications team, implements electronic communications (both email and text messaging) and facilitates the execution of one-time and ongoing campaigns..
  • Works with the Marketing and Communications team, to execute and monitor lead acquisition campaigns and lead data integration into Slate.
  • Ensures applicant communications are timely, accurate, and adheres to high customer service standards.
  • Creates and maintains events including registration pages in SLATE and corresponding websites as needed.
  • In conjunction with the Marketing and Communications and Recruitment teams, distributes event registration invitations, reminders, and event follow-up communications.
Minimum Qualifications:
Formal Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
Minimum Work Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience in enrollment operations and management.
  • Advanced Slate experience, including demonstrated experience managing, configuring, and optimizing Slate functionality to support operational and strategic needs.

Specific Job Knowledge (e.g., knowledge of principles and procedures related to field and area)
  • Strong technical knowledge of Banner, Slate, Qualtrics, data visualization tools, and web-enabled technologies.
  • Must be able to confidently prepare and analyze datasets for internal and external review.
  • Must have a proven history of providing excellent customer service

Equipment Knowledge
  • Must be proficient in all standard computer applications, including Zoom, Microsoft Office products, particularly, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook.

Other:
  • Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends to serve the needs of the student population.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree in related field preferred
  • Experience in data management, research, and/or project management preferred
  • SLATE certification or designation as a SLATE captain
  • Experience with application management systems
  • Knowledge of SoftDocs and Power BI
  • Working knowledge of nursing education and healthcare
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:

Salary Posting Information:
This position falls within salaried grade 16 and the range is $71,700-89,600. The final salary will be determined with consideration of several factors including the selected candidate’s qualifications, department budget availability, market data, and internal equity.
