Veterinary Technician at Community Veterinary Partners – Elgin, Illinois

As valued members of our veterinary medical team, our skilled veterinary technicians are responsible for a wide variety of tasks including (but not limited to):

• placing IV catheters, drawing blood, and running bloodwork
• handling and restraining animals
• filling and preparing prescriptions
• assisting with surgery prep and anesthesia monitoring
• administering sub-Q fluids and IM injections
• performing “in-house” laboratory tests
• positioning, taking, and developing radiographs
