Faculty Position: Section Head of Sarcoma Pathology
The Moffitt Cancer Center’s Department of Pathology is seeking a Section Head of Sarcoma Pathology. The successful candidate will have a track record of clinical and academic excellence with experience in high volume multidisciplinary university clinical settings. National/international recognition of sarcoma pathology subspecialty expertise is desirable. Depending on the candidate’s experience, the position may include responsibilities in other organ specialties and/or frozen section service.
The Sarcoma Multidisciplinary Team offers excellent opportunities for collaborative research and the Department of Pathology has an innovative and advanced molecular pathology service providing opportunities for translational research. Opportunities also exist to join established basic research programs. Moffitt is committed to education through a wide range of residency and oncologic pathology fellowship programs.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must have completed a sarcoma pathology fellowship and/or have years of practice experience within this subspecialty.
- Applicants must be board certified in Anatomic Pathology.
- Applicants must have an active FL Medical Licensure or be eligible for licensure in the State of Florida.
