Job Overview:
Blackstar Diversified is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to sell NoTraffic's innovative traffic management solutions across Maryland. This role involves promoting and selling NoTraffic products to government agencies, municipalities, and private enterprises. Key Responsibilities:- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to reach target clients, including city officials, traffic management agencies, and engineering firms.
- Lead Generation & Networking: Identify and generate leads through cold calling, networking, attending trade shows, and following up on inquiries.
- Client Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients by understanding their needs and presenting the value propositions of NoTraffic solutions.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct on-site visits and provide product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and capabilities of NoTraffic's technology.
- Proposal Development: Prepare, present, and follow up on proposals, ensuring they are tailored to clients' needs and aligned with company objectives.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and regional needs to adjust sales tactics and strategies effectively.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Blackstar Diversified internal team, including marketing and customer support, to ensure a smooth sales process and high customer satisfaction.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in outside sales, preferably in technology solutions, smart city products, or traffic management systems.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong understanding of the sales cycle and effective selling techniques.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly learn and understand complex technical solutions and explain them effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Customer-Focused: Demonstrated success in understanding and meeting customer needs with tailored solutions.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel throughout Maryland to meet with clients and attend industry events. A valid driver's license is required.
- Self-Motivated: Goal-driven, with a proactive approach to meeting and exceeding sales targets.
