CAH - NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR in Carthage, New York at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center

IT/Nursing Informatics – Network Administrator – Full Time-Day shift 8a-4:30p- Req 7241

Pay Range $42.36-$56.12*

This position reports to the Director of Information Systems. Install, manage and maintain routers, switches, firewalls and a centralized wireless network. Assist with network design and capacity planning. Configure and manage VLANS and VPN’s. Install, manage and support VMWare environment including load balancing, failover, affinity, virtual networking, VMDK and RDM storage and software upgrades. Configure and support a server farm of Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016 servers. Support general Microsoft roles including DHCP, DNS/Dynamic DNS, Active Directory, Group Policies, and File Sharing Services. Administer MS Exchange including user and datastore management, internet SMTP connectivity, webportals/smartphone access. Support SAN management including provisioning storage. Fiber channel switch provisioning and redundancy.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree with five (5) years experience in related field.

• Bachelors degree in Informative Technology or related field with two (2) years relevant experience preferred.

• Experience with CISCO UCS, CISCO Blade Server Administration, CISCO Fex, CISCO ASA Firewalls, CISCO fiber channel switches and HP 3PAR SAN desired.

• Experience with Data General and Digital Minicomputer systems using MAGIC and VMS systems preferred
