Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist Position Summary

The Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist performs vascular/ultrasound procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures and students as assigned.

Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist Position Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Allied health Program in General/Vascular Ultrasound
• Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
• Dual ARDMS and RVT registration is required within one (1) year ofhire or transfer.
• Two (2) years applicble experience in a hospital is perferred.

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday with rotating day and evening shifts with occasional weekends.
• Occasional call per departmental guidelines.
• Rotating Holiday coverage.
