MA PRN at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville – Powderly, Kentucky

The Medical Assistant assists the staff and physician by collection of pertinent patient information needed to determine physical and psychological needs, address and identify health problems, performs selected treatments, diagnostic procedures and routine duties. The MA functions as a member of the healthcare team with responsibilities commensurate with training and demonstrated competencies. Direct patient care is provided to patients of all ages.

1. Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent required
2. Basic Life Support Certification required
3. Minimum two years of direct patient care experience preferred
