Performs a variety of test procedures on multiple body fluids submitted for analysis. Provides the physician with accurate reports to aid in the diagnosis or treatment of patients. May be responsible for decisions regarding quality control, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

BS degree in related science required. Medical Laboratory Scientist certification by American Society for Clinical Pathology required within one year of employment.
