Apartment Maintenance Supervisor| Cedar Rapids | Full-Time | On-Site
Multi-Family Housing | Pay: $27-$30/hrs + Bonus

Monarch Investment and Management Groupis looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the Overlook 380 Apartments in Cedar Rapids. We are offering up to $30/hrs plus $1,000 quarterly bonuses, health insurance, tool reimbursement, 2 weeks of paid time off, and 9 paid holidays.

Essential Job Duties and/or oversight Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that work orders are being completed and assigned to team members based on priority
• Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
• Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed
• Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone every 3 to 4 weeks
• Manage and maintain a consistent preventative maintenance program
• Managing bids and planning major repairs from third party vendors

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ Years of experience in maintenance or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in apartment maintenance
• Drywalling experience, including painting and carpentry
• Proficiency with electrical, including outlets, switches, and light fixtures
• Experienced with plumbing, sweating copper pipe preferred
• Experience with boilers
• Repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and garbage disposals.
• Have good verbal and written communication
• Problem-solving skills

A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
