Senior CNC Machinist – Large Part Machining

Richfield, WI | Full-Time | 1st Shift (5:45 AM – 2:15 PM) with Overtime Available

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus After 90 Days

$35.00–$52.00 per hour

We're looking for an experienced Senior CNC Machinist to independently set up, operate, and program large CNC machining centers while producing complex components to exacting specifications.

What You'll Do

As a Senior CNC Machinist, you'll:

  • Independently set up, operate, and program large CNC machining centers
  • Produce complex precision-machined components from setup through final operation
  • Set tooling, establish work offsets, verify programs, and make machining adjustments as needed
  • Program and modify machining operations using CAM software
  • Inspect parts throughout the machining process using precision measuring equipment
  • Monitor cutting conditions and optimize machining performance
  • Machine a variety of materials, including specialty and exotic alloys
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements
  • Maintain equipment and keep an organized, safe work area
  • Collaborate with Programmers, Engineers, and Production to ensure quality and efficiency
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Five or more years of CNC machining experience
  • Experience setting up and operating complex CNC machining centers
  • Ability to program and operate 5-axis CNC equipment
  • CAM software experience
  • Experience machining specialty or exotic materials
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation
  • Strong math and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical degree or apprenticeship in Precision Machining
  • PowerMill experience
  • Experience with large-part machining
  • Experience machining aerospace or high-precision components
