Description:

New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking a Forklift Operator with Receiving experience of loading pallets onto a truck for a client located in Conroe, TX to join our team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week

Summary:
Seeking a forklift operator with heavy focus on loading pallets onto trucks. The forklift operator is responsible for the removal of the finished product from the palletizing area and placement into the warehouse for shipment. You will also learn how to operate the end of the line palletizing area.

Position responsibilities:

• Remove finished goods on pallets with forklift, scan and place in designated locations in shipping warehouse.
• Ability to load palletizer with pallets.
• Ability to load the wrapper with required materials and learn to operate and troubleshoot.
• Perform forklift inspections.
• Must be able to safely operate forklift with various attachments as needed for the product removal from the line
• Perform visual inspection of finished goods and report inconsistences to operator, lead or supervisor.
• Complete daily cleaning of area.
• Operate electric and propane forklifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years' operating forklift in manufacturing, warehouse or similar environment.
• Must be able to pass forklift certification.
• Attention to details.
• Perform visual quality inspection of finished product.
• Ability to use hand scanners
• Ability to workdays, nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to complete background check and pre- employment drug and alcohol testing requirements.
