Oncology/Hospice Registered Nurse TRAINING PROVIDED - BONUS ELIGIBLE #7840 at St. Clair Hospital – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Summary

Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing patient care in accordance with established standards and skill competency. Onsite training is provided for chemotherapy certification and hospice care.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Must possess a current license or a temporary practice permit to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
2. Appropriate clinical experience with a thorough knowledge of the scientific principles of nursing and professional nursing standards, developed skill in delivering nursing care, and the ability to adapt to individual needs.
3. A fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
4. The ability to successfully complete a competency-based orientation and annual competency testing of skills and/or knowledge necessary to provide care to specific patient populations.
5. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

1. One to three years of clinical experience in a related field.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
3. Oncology Certification (OCN).
