Assistant teachers- part time at Appletons Community Child Care Inc – Kimberly, Wisconsin

The Community Child Care Center is seeking students who are interested in/ currently studying the field of Early Care and Education. We have part-time assistant positions available that would be ideal for students participating in the Youth Apprenticeship program through their High School or taking college classes and seeking flexible schedules.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support lead teachers in managing the classrooms
• Assist children in daily and basic care routines
• cover teachers' breaks and days off
• be willing to work with a wide variety of ages

Job Requirements:

• If you are not yet 18, you must have completed an assistant child care teacher training program approved by the state of Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, OR 2 credits in early childhood education, or its equivalent, OR a noncredit department-approved course in early childhood education.
• If you are over 18, you must complete a department-approved course within 6 months of starting work, OR have credits in early childhood.
• Previous experience preferred but not required
